Seb's birthday, continued

For our afternoon adventure, Sebastian requested that we go to a bowling alley and indoor arcade. We picked a newly constructed place which was very fancy inside, and had a grand time. We bowled three games and played various games in the arcade.

This is the face of a girl who just won a bowling game. :)

Back home, we took Jasper for a walk and Sebastian played a little soccer at the field, and then I made his requested birthday dinner: pulled pork sandwiches. There were assorted fixings - potatoes, corn, peas, coleslaw, avocado - and he was happy. I do love that both children have specific birthday food requests every year, and that they are very clearly for things that I cook for them, not restaurants they wish to visit. It's sweet.

Strawberry shortcake for dessert, of course.
