ice skating at Winterhawks rink

We went ice skating at the Winterhawks rink on Tuesday afternoon - Danica and Roxy had been skating multiple times, but it was Liesl and Sebastian's first time. It was really fun - they both did great and learned how to balance and move forward. Neither was scared - Liesl in particular wanted to do it herself and kept falling and getting up again and falling and getting up. We'll definitely return!

Snowshoeing at Trillium Lake

We drove up to Mt Hood today for a snowshoeing adventure at Trillium Lake. It was my children's first time on snowshoes - they just received shoes for Xmas from Carl and Kim - and they did beautifully. They loved playing in the snow and sledding down the hill and throwing snowballs and making angels and just falling everywhere and getting covered.
