We had a good night and a happy morning - the kids choreographed and performed another dance routine and then constructed a huge fort of blankets and pillows in the girls' bedroom. At 9:30 we headed out for open art time at a local children's studio. The three children had a good time exploring together - they painted (mostly they threw paint), they constructed things from scraps, they played around with clay.
Sebastian's soccer supply store. He and Danica collaborated on the products - jerseys, balls, shoes.
Dani's tiny house. I suggested that the Borrowers could live in it.
In the afternoon, we went to Wilson Pool and enjoyed jumping and splashing and diving for rings and diving for fun and swimming... Danica is a fish! It was fun to watch her. Liesl was inspired to try swimming further and further. Sebastian was not inspired... but he did fine. No pics from the pool, as I left my camera in the car.
We returned home and the kids cleaned up their various spaces and then got working on a puzzle together while I made dinner. Sebastian had his first soccer practice tonight at 6, so Steve went over there while I stayed home with the girls. Danica has been reading up a storm - an hour or more every night after the other two are tucked into bed. She's read some of the fairy books (thanks for Brianna the tooth fairy and Autumn the something fairy, cousin Gill!) and nearly the entire series of Sweet Pickles books. It's good to see.
