On Sunday we had lunch at Dough Zone -- took down two trays of soup dumplings as well as steamed shrimp dumplings and pork buns. It was an impressive effort. And then Ella came over and the girls played Twister, put together a Lego car for Seb, watched tv, and had a "sleep"-over.
I had to work on Monday -- left before the girls got up! -- so Ella's mom Sassa took them ice skating at the Winterhawks rink.
We shot some hoops, since basketball season is upon us.
On Wednesday, we went to a drop-in dance class at Bodyvox, a local studio. The class is called rhythm and motion - I'd been once before with Anne and Adrienne, and it's the sort of class where you just follow along, watching the instructor's moves until you get the sequence for that song. Liesl did excellently well.
And then on Wednesday night, Liesl went to a birthday party for her friend Bailey; five girls got dressed and ready together and went to the Zack Bryan concert at the Moda Center (country/pop music). They wore matching outfits of denim miniskirts and bandanna tube tops, along with pink cowboy hats -- crazy and fun.
