Christmas morning

Santa Claus and his elves came to White Rock!  We opened up lots of presents on Christmas morning and had a wonderful time.
Jasper got his very own stocking stuffed with treats and chew toys.
glow in the dark fidget spinners; matching Santa hats
Four different bird houses, to be decorated and taken to the fairy garden at Redwoods park.
Liesl asked Santa for a hatchimal (along with snow and fairy magic), and Santa delivered. Phew!

Kim made jewelry for all of us - a necklace for mom, stamped with the names of her four grandchildren, earrings for me with Seb and Liel's names, and necklaces for the girls.
The best presents are the climbing shoes you buy yourself. :)
 Matching pants!
After the presents were open, we let Liesl hatch her hatchimal. It cracked open the egg and came out: a pink penguin hatchimal!! Liesl and the other girls were enthralled.

White Rock with the Avery/Lee/Raabs!

We drove up on Saturday morning to White Rock, where Carl and I had rented a big house near mom and dad's condo for our families to share over winter break. On Sunday the 24th, the kids went sledding while mom and I made our annual fig breads.
