Liesl's adventures

Liesl enjoyed an amazing week of fun with friends. She was invited to go out with friend Elia on her family's boat on Tuesday late afternoon -- they had a great time tubing in the Willamette River for a few hours. Afterwards, they went back to Elia's to eat pizza and make brownies.

 

We then returned the favor by taking Elia to the VillaSport pool on Thursday afternoon -- they had a delightful time giggling and playing there.

And then on Friday it was friend Sienna's birthday. They went to Tree-to-Tree Adventure park for a few hours of climbing and ziplining. True to form, our girls started on the fifth route, one of the hardest ones! We had visited this place as a family last summer and had a great time, until Liesl accidentally grabbed the zip line on her last run and got a terrible wire-rope burn. She was a little nervous about returning to the scene of the crime, so we were really proud that she pushed through that fear.

Liesl was also at her dance studio's day camp this week, from 10-1 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The camp culminated in some short performances on Thursday, which she loved. Such an amazing and exhausting week!
