Liesl has been missing the company of Arianna this summer. A's parents were expecting to return to in-person work in June, so they signed her up for many weeks of full day summer camps, and she's thus not around every day to play.
But she wasn't in camp the week of July 4th, and the girls had so much fun. Tuesday morning, they biked to Cedar Mill Park, where they made up an obstacle course, hit some tennis balls, and ran around. In the afternoon they chalked a beautiful design on our driveway.
On Wednesday we drove out to Cannon Beach for the day, with Seb and Cason as well. There was beach baseball, splashing in the waves, wrestling, more beach baseball, Tom's Fish and Chips, and saltwater taffy.
