snow day!

We kicked off our social distancing/semi-quarantine with a snow day -- in mid-March!! -- which just amplified my feeling that the world is crazy. But it was so fun to have a snow day, our first of the winter. We woke up to snow and ran outside immediately to enjoy it, sledding and having snowball fights at the field with the Qualls and Liefeld/Keenans. And then it snowed again, and we went back out to play some more - Jasper and I took a long walk on the local trails, and then Seb, Wyatt, and I went up to the top of the hill to sled some more. And then it snowed a third time! But we were tired and everything was too wet, and we watched it swirl and fall like a snow globe against the spring flowers.

Jasper had to be tied to a tree because he was such a pest about the sledding - barking, whining, chasing, trying to stop the sled by grabbing it... poor boy.

 

Round 3 of snow - we were firmly ensconced inside at this point, and watched it whirl around outside.
