mama and Seb

We had an unusual weekend. Steve and Liesl took a daddy-daughter jaunt to San Francisco for a long weekend, and Seb and I stayed home together. Steve had to be in SF on Monday for work, and we had originally planned to all go down on Saturday together. But then Seb's team made the finals for the soccer tournament, so we cancelled our two tickets to stay home so he could play in the championship (good thing!). Steve still needed to take the trip for work, and Liesl still wanted to be a tourist, so they flew down on Saturday morning and had an amazing sightseeing tour of the city. (Photos and blog post about their trip to come!)  But Seb and I had a sweet mom/son weekend together, with lots of board games, books and movies, a 4-mile run and a Forest Park hike together with Jasper, some basketball and baseball at the field, some chores and errands - a relaxing weekend being together.

Pine State biscuits and pancakes and bacon. Yum.

We played Ticket to Ride, Machi Koro, and Racko, multiple times. I lost nearly all the games. Sigh.
