It's National Poetry month, and the children are writing poems at school and at home. Here are two selections. Liesl's second line is my favorite, "flowers need the rain you know". I also like the rhythm of Sebastian's "deliciously great on a warm summer day" and "sprinkles, whipped cream, waffle cone".
