archery party

We co-hosted an archery party on Sunday in conjunction with our school's fundraising auction. We are not archers, but our co-hosting family is connected with an archery range, so our role is to show up as hosts, and bring some food. It was a fun event this year, with some friends attending, and a setup on the main range instead of in the kids party room. It made it a lot more fun for the adults to join in the archery.

This was Steve's first foray - everything on target, but high. No photos were taken of my first few attempts, which were wildly and inconsistently off target. I wasn't close to the paper target...

But by the end, I had gotten much better. This was my final shooting round, above. Sebastian too had improved a lot - his final round is below.
