We had to get a new garage door, because the old one got into a tussle with Sebastian's Razr scooter and lost. (It buckled and broke - cheap metal door.) We ordered one to the exact specifications of the HOA, but then had to get the exact right brown paint with the exact right sheen, because it had to exactly match the trim and the color scheme of the HOA. Sheesh.
Anyway, Steve and Seb put on the primer, and then Liesl helped paint. Both kids were pretty happy with the painting job and it has sparked our interest in painting their bedrooms. Sebastian's is currently a too-dark and drab brown, and we'd love to make it sky blue. Liesl, predictably, requested pink. And then pink and purple stripes. Ha!
