Sebastian's birthday request was to have his room redone -- painting the walls, getting rid of old furniture and kid books, and getting a small sofa. So he started packing up old things on Saturday, and clearing out garbage, and moving out the old lazyboy chair. On Sunday we moved the remaining furniture to the middle of the room and taped all of the trim and ceiling, and then we applied a coat of primer.
On Monday, his friends came over in the morning and the four of them applied a first coat of paint.
On Monday evening, we applied a second coat of paint. By Tuesday afternoon we were able to move some furniture back into place, and it looked great! Next up: sofa, rug, blinds.
