end of Liesl's fall soccer season

Liesl's PCU soccer team had their final league game of the fall season on Saturday. It was a gorgeous late afternoon game, ending in a 1-1 tie. Liesl played really well and it was so fun to watch. Seb, who is taking a photography class this year, borrowed a camera with a good telephoto lens so that I could take better pictures. So much fun to play around and actually capture close-ups! (These all posted in reverse order -- the top photo is the last one I took -- I don't know why. But there are some sequences that will only make sense if you scroll from the bottom up, including the first five pics, which capture a single run and defensive shutdown by Liesl of #15.)

Liesl and Townley celebrating the team's goal with a running chest bump. T is at least 5'10 and probably 150 lbs, so it's really funny to watch them. Their tradition is to do it every single goal.
