We woke up on Christmas to our lovely tree and lots of presents -- not to mention fig bread, bacon, and lots of fruit -- and had a sweet morning together.
Bunny Foofoo had her own stocking with a carrot inside. Lucky bunny.
Jasper was very interested and excited by all of our happy shouts and cheers and new things. He sniffed and wagged his tail and was a very enthusiastic companion. He also was lucky enough to have his own Christmas stocking, stuffed with treats, a bone, a new footed ball, and a glow-in-the-dark ball.
New socks!!! always the best part of my stocking.
Seb gave Liesl a candy-making kit which was an immediate hit.
Liesl gave me a book of 21 coupons for fun things and chores - hikes together, doing laundry, etc.

The extension to Machi Koro, complete with sushi bars and other fun things - even more than Seb was expecting. We got a few new games for Christmas and are looking forward to learning them in January.
Jasper's squeaky new ball was driving me crazy, so I put it up on the high shelf -- he stared at it sadly and sweetly until I took pity on him and returned it.

Two new pieces of jewelry from Harlow, my favorite local artisan.
After presents and breakfast, I took Jasper for a run in Forest Park, and then we cleaned up the house and cleaned out the fridge and finished packing and headed for the airport, bound for LAX and a week-long vacation in Ventura/Santa Barbara with the Averys.
