Timbers game!!

As a special treat, Steve bought tickets to see the Sunday afternoon Portland Timbers soccer game with Sebastian. They had great seats right near the field, just off the midfield line. Sebastian was so excited and filled with anticipation that he could barely eat lunch.

 

 

Sadly, the Timbers lost 2-0 and Sebastian was crushed with disappointment. He was quite literally despondent, even refusing Steve's offer to buy ice cream to salve the wounds. I have never been a sports fan in quite that way - where my emotions are so closely tied to a professional sports team - but Steve obviously feels similarly about the Steelers and could fully sympathize with Sebastian's sadness.
