Happy 4th!

We had a delightful Fourth of July - delicious food, good friends, fantastic weather. We started out the day by going to a local parade over in the Laurelhurst neighborhood - bunch of kids riding their bikes and scooters around the streets, with various random people sitting outside and watching, cheering, playing their musical instruments, waving flags. It was cute and fun, and Seb loved riding his bike in the parade.

We then popped over to Mt. Tabor to walk around the beautiful park and enjoy the views of Mt. Hood and Portland. Liesl ate a lot of cherries. :)

And finally, at the end of the day I texted our friends Katie and Ben and we basically invited ourselves over for dinner and a playdate. Tacos with pork shoulder and all the fixings, including an amazing blackberry cobbler made by Katie. Yum. The kids played in the backyard kiddie pool and at the playground across the street, and had a fantastic time.
