Hardy Ridge trail hike

Steve and I enjoyed a very rare date day on Saturday. We went for an 8-mile hike in the Columbia River Gorge up Hardy Ridge trail on the Washington side of the river. It was a gorgeous day - 70s and sunny - the wildflowers were in bloom, the trail was forested, and it led to spectacular views of the river and mountains. Unlike many nearby trails, this one is not well known, and so it was sparsely populated even on a Saturday. We had a delightful adventure and returned feeling foot-sore but happy.
