FPE carnival

Friday night was the school's annual spring carnival - rides, games, food carts, bouncy houses, dance and martial arts performances. Both Seb and Liesl had a wonderful time running around with their friends, and we were free to sit outside on a gorgeous Friday evening talking to our parent friends.

Liesl waited in line for an hour - patiently, and without either complaining or asking me to wait in her place - to ride on this monkey motion flip thing. It was four minutes of pure glee and jumping.

Sebastian and Frances met up and spent the whole carnival running around together - they played all the games (bowling, archery, bounce houses), made up their own crazy game with wooden pieces and a ball, ate too much candy, and then got their cheeseburgers for dinner and happily ate together in the back garden. It's really a sweet friendship.
