summer adventures

We had a week of unusually hot weather and thus spent our late mornings and afternoons playing in water.  I bought a little sprinkler to set up in our front driveway, which both kids loved running through. 

On Tuesday we visited Columbia Park, with a cool little splash pad. On Wednesday we went to a park along the Sandy River to swim and splash and dig.

This week promises to be equally hot, so I am planning trips to Cannon Beach, the Columbia River Gorge, and perhaps the addition of some water balloons and super-soakers to our toy collection. :)
