Sunday hikes...

The kids and I went out Sunday morning to our new favorite trail - a short little jaunt down old Saltzman Road in Forest Park - it's about a mile out and back, wide and even, with lots of space to run and jump. They were super happy to be out and happily raced and sang and flew and jumped and collected pine cones. Liesl made it the whole way, with the help of a little "special fuel" aka chocolate-covered raisins.
