Sebastian's kindergarten class had an apple tasting party on Halloween - Mrs. Huntley brought in 10 varieties, 2 of each, and had the parents cut up one apple into little slices and leave the other one whole. Then the kids had to draw each apple, taste it, describe the taste, and give it a rating. It was pretty fun. Liesl and I stayed for an hour, helping read the notes about one apple variety and distribute the slices.
And for a final project, making an apple core. :)
