Boise

While Seb played soccer and hung out with his team at their hotel, Steve and I explored some parts of Boise.

We walked along the riverfront pedestrian trails -- miles and miles of paved trails on both sides of the Boise river. Our hotel is in the Garden City section of Boise, right on the waterfront, so we can just walk out and explore.

On Saturday, we hiked an area north of the city called Hull's Gulch -- a trail through a gully, up into the foothills, with sage and wildflowers, and the tiniest creek. It would have been absolutely lovely, except it was midday and quite hot. Still, so different than our usual terrain, and good to get out.

 

 

And we had dinner at a lovely little place called Susina's - very central European. 

 Jasper hasn't been able to walk with us, so we have also spent time sitting outside with him, enjoying the grass and sniffing the breeze.

 

We stopped to charge the Tesla in Pendleton, at a casino complex. To our delight, there was a family fun center with bowling and an arcade, so we played some games while we waited for the car to charge. So fun! Best Tesla stop ever! We stopped both ways and had fun.
