Better late than never!! It's about, what, a month past pumpkin carving season? It's nearly Thanksgiving! But we had somehow failed to carve ours and Liesl was sad about it. So on Sunday - now that we're past soccer season and birthday season and Halloween, we hunkered down inside together. We played some board games - Forbidden Island, Qwirkle, Sherlock, Boggle Jr. - read many books, baked a pumpkin bread with chocolate-nut streusel, made leaf crayon shadings, and carved our jack-o-lantern.
