Sebastian had his end-of-the-year piano recital today, in the meeting room of a nearby church. He was less nervous than I expected him to be, both before the event and during his actual piece. It's been a struggle to find time (and willingness) to practice - there's been a lot of tantruming and fussing and complaining - but he has persevered and learned all of the pieces. He did well and played with confidence, and we were proud.
