Sebastian was off from school this week - Weds to Fri - because the teachers were hosting parent teacher conferences. He came with me to work on Wednesday, I stayed home to play on Thursday, and today he had a babysitter with whom he did nothing but play sports (football, basketball, soccer, frisbee) all day long.
But Thursday was a gorgeous day and we visited our second pumpkin patch of the season, Lakeview Farms. We invited our lovely 10-year old neighbor Nadine to join us and also met up with Anne and Camille. It was super fun - we spent a really long time wandering the corn maze in search of five stamps for our tickets (so we could earn the candy prize) - we found four but never actually found the fifth, to the girls' despair.

And then it was on to the train ride, the pumpkins, and the boat ride. Nadine picked out the biggest "ghost" pumpkin I've ever seen and gamely trundled it around in a wheelbarrow.

And then we came back home and carved out the pumpkins - Nadine's enormous white one and assorted smaller ones too.
