Sebastian is 8 months old! We went to the doctor for a checkup - he weighs 18 lbs and is 28 inches tall. A bit above average for height, and below average for weight. Our string bean.
He has new teeth coming in - four at once!! - all on the top. Two are already peeking through and two more are right below the gumline. He was a bit fussy last night, which may or may not be related to the descending teeth.
He has been doing something new and fascinating. He loves the long mirror in our bedroom - he crawls toward it and grins, he tries to kiss his reflection. But recently, he pulled the mirror forward and looked behind it - looking for the baby that he saw in the mirror. He did it again and again, staring at the face in the mirror and then looking behind. We were so impressed, and really wished we could know what he was thinking as he did it.
He has started vocalizing more and more - dadada and yahyahyah and ennnennn.
