Last Friday night I took Liesl and three friends to a haunted corn maze on Sauvie Island, at Bella Organic farm. It was pitch black by 7:30 when they entered, and they were chased by creepy people and chainsaws and clowns. They were terrified. They had to recover with caramel apples and much excited chatter and reliving moments. And then they curled up in Seb's room to watch a movie and sleep piled together like puppies.
