The US/Canada border opened for land travel on Monday, and mom and dad arrived on Wednesday for a short visit. They watched Liesl's dance classes and soccer games; mom and I enjoyed cooking together; we did some birthday present shopping; dad and I explored and set up their new iPhone; and we talked and hugged. It's been really sweet.
Mom and I then posed for a perfectly nice picture, at which dad remarked that he didn't like our facial expressions. So we tried out some different expressions to see if we could find something more photo-worthy.
And then there was some photobombing, and finally something worth capturing for posterity.
