Halloween!

After last year's barely-there Halloween festivities, it was a joy to return to the usual trick-or-treating candy extravaganza this year. Liesl dressed up as a green M&M and joined with her friends Elia (yellow), Bailey (red), and Hannah (blue) to wander the neighborhood. 

We started at Elia/Mieke's house, for some fruit, veggies, and mac and cheese. And then the girls took off and the moms trailed behind.

Sebastian went to a taco party on the patio at his friend Nicolas' house, along with smattering of other friends. They ate, they were goofy, they trick-or-treated for hours.

Both kids were home earlier than expected (earlier than curfew for Seb) and immediately dumped out their candy for sorting and gloating.
