Liesl and Roxy, inseparable still.
The children invited us to a show - we all had to sign for a free ticket, with pre-assigned seating. There was singing and dancing, jumping and tumbling, all more or less
choreographed. They started working on this routine at the crack of
dawn.
Mom and Dad took the older children for a long exploratory walk in Hoyt Arboretum.
We set up the laptop and projector and played a movie - a little bit of Charlie Brown's Christmas, and then a little bit of old-school Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
And then we had a dance party: some Uptown Funk, some All the Single Ladies, some Shake it Off..
Grandpa read 'Twas the Night Before Christmas to the fabulous four. He's going on 40 years of reading the same book every Christmas Eve.
