My girl started her second year of preschool on Tuesday. She's a Dragonfly still, at Helen Gordon, with the same teachers and many of the same children as last year. But of course, she last attended in early June, a lifetime ago, and so she was a little reluctant and clingy at dropoff. By all reports she quickly recovered and had wonderful days playing with her best friend Nina. They apparently played babies during outside play - both of them "no-mama babies" - so they're two orphan babies who take care of each other. :)
She will be attending five days a week this school year and so that's going to be an adjustment. But I think she's going to really grow into her routine and friendships and thrive. Here's our girl on the first day, in the outfit she picked out at the consignment store (including bear apron). :)
