haircut!

Sebastian finally realized that he was going to be too hot this summer carrying around the extra 5 lbs of hair on his head... so he woke up this morning and asked for a haircut - a short, cut-it-all-off buzzcut - today.  Steve and I jumped at the opportunity; it's been probably a year since he allowed us to actually cut his hair, and not just trim the bangs and sideburns.

Not so happy here. It took a long time. 30 minutes, maybe? There was a lot of hair, and the clippers were maybe not up to the task and our scissors proved too dull, and then there was the neck itching...

 Finished! Phew! Looks great! None of his friends recognized him at afternoon soccer. I only found him by searching for his bright yellow cleats. :)  Summertime, here we come.
