the weather
It's late January/early February, and my children are playing outside. It's sunny, and warm enough (mid-50s) that they don't need jackets. Tell me again: why do so many people complain about Portland winters? Last I checked, it was 28 degrees and snowing in New York. And I'll bet if I checked the other places I've lived: Edmonton, Amherst, Stockholm, Beidaihe - it'd be even colder.
