playing at Scenic Hudson

Sebastian gets into these tremendous ruts - wants the same book read every day, occasionally multiple times in the same day, for days on end. (At the moment, it's Subway Story.)  Or to play the same game every day (last week was Busytown; this week it's Duck Duck Bruce.)  And he gets just as attached to which playground we should visit for our outdoor play.  We are blessed with some gorgeous playgrounds in Irvington - Station Park, Matthiessen Park, and Scenic Hudson park, as well as the elementary school playgrounds (three of them). Last summer he only wanted to go to Matthiessen Park, but this summer, so far, he has a passion for Scenic Hudson. There are two small playgrounds, a paved loop, some fields usually featuring baseball games, and lots of geese.  I assume it's normal for small children to get so attached and generally go along with his current obsession, so at the moment we're only playing in that one park.
