Liesl's first high school softball season came to a delightful close - she was selected by the PIL coaches to the all-PIL Honorable Mention team, which is quite an honor for a freshman. And we had a team dinner and parent vs player scrimmage on Monday night. None of the parents pulled a hamstring or threw out a shoulder, and the girls won, so it was a success.

Not pictured: I hit the ball! Got thrown out at first both times, but it still felt good to connect. And when I was in the outfield, I ran for a ground ball, reached across my body to the backhand side close to the ground... and fell over, tumbling sideways into a roll, laughing helplessly the whole time. It was so funny.
