February so far has been a giant bummer. Seb and Steve have had a terrible case of the flu -- persistent high fever, hacking cough, misery. And Jasper was attacked by a dog while walking with me on PSU's campus. He sustained numerous bite wounds including some deep punctures in his abdomen. It was awful and terrifying.
Everyone is on the mend as of this weekend, but I'm really holding out hope that the lunar new year is a reset point -- the year of the horse, surely good for a descendant of Mahs?
