Liesl's inaugural cross-country season came to a splendid end -- she ran two more races and was strong and speedy in both. It's been fun to watch and cheer her on as she figured out her pace and stamina, and grew more confident. She still has the most amazing kick at the end of every race.

Back at Jackson MS for the all-Portland middle schoolers district meet. Liesl finished 24th out of the girls, in a time of 13.37, which was absolutely splendid.
