The HOA brought in some pumpkins, free to FH residents. So we strolled down on Saturday and picked some out. 

 

Steve in NY

Steve went to NY for a week to see his family -- mom and dad Raab came up from Florida, Tom flew in from California -- they saw Mary and her boys, ate lots of good food, and celebrated Tom's 50th birthday.

Jasper

Just an update on our sweet Jasper: the knee surgery was entirely successful, we were really disciplined during the 12-week rehab period, and he's happily back to his former self. He can play with his dog friends; he's gone running a few miles with me (he's out of shape, but that's okay); he can hike 4-5 miles; he wants to play fetch every morning. It's wonderful. He had been limping for so many weeks last year, just obviously in pain, before the surgery. It's delightful to see him regain his bounciness. That being said, we're more cautious now: I don't throw the ball such that he has to jump for it, I make him walk a little to warm up before dashing off, we're still using the ramp for the car hatch. There's still another knee, after all!

JV2 girls vs Wells

I took the good camera to Liesl's game on Wednesday against Wells HS. Lincoln won 6-0; Liesl played well; it was fun to get photos of everyone. I'm only posting photos of Liesl on our blog, but I took photos of all the girls and shared them with the team and team parents through this folder.

Her coaches have started asking her to take free kicks; she did really well, placing them into the box. No assists on Weds, but it's fun to see!
